The guards escorted Kathryn out of the pack, while Dan took the Doctor away, everyone left, leaving just Astrid and Kai.

Kai looked at Astrid, she only met his eyes for a second before looking away, it's so obvious that she must be feeling so bad right now and Kai wanted to use that to his advantage.

He felt the strong urge to talk to her but he managed to control himself, he didn't say a single word to her but turned around to leave.

When Astrid noticed he wanted to leave, she ran to stand in front of him and grabbed his hand.

"Kai wait!'' She said. Kai paused, then he turned his back to her, not wanting to look at her face.
