I woke to her moving around a bit, I gripped onto her, knowing when I let go that meant I'd have to leave. I didn't want this moment to end, I missed her every second of every day.

I looked over at the time then groaned when I saw it said four in the morning, I had to go, I know my dad felt it when I left the territory, I heard him trying to mind link me but I shut him out.

If he were to send anyone here, if anyone found me here with her, he could ruin her. I can't let that happen to her, no matter how much this is all killing me. He is still the Alpha, his word is law, for now.
