CHARLOTTE'S POV

Fueled by my determination and weighed down by the expectations of my father, I made my way to George's office.

As I entered the room, his head snapped up from the laptop, his shock and anger at my presence written clearly across his face. But I remained undeterred, my energy radiating from my very core as I approached him with a single-minded purpose.

"George," I said, my voice low and dangerous. "We have unfinished business."

"What are you doing here?" George snapped, his voice dripping with anger. His expression hardened into a mask of stone, his lips pressed together in a thin line.
