they were all gathered around the table to eat lunch sienna and Xander having 

changed their clothes Xander in a buttoned shirt and jeans and Kyra in a pair of jeans and a blouse aerilyn had lent her 

aerilyn had prepared lunch a meat casserole and a blueberry pie 

this is so delicious Kyra said eating the pie she was peeling off strips of the top crust of the pie 

and dipping in the filling and eating it with her fingers  

how did you learn to cook like this?  Kyra asked theres this place near the academy that makes pastries

 but they don't taste as good as yours she said they are really dry and flaky 

and when you try to eat it the whole thing falls to pieces it makes you feel like you're eating crumbs 

but I like yours it has a really nice chewy texture thats more like bread and it absorbs the sauce from the filling really well
