On my run, I came to the pond again in the clearing and decided to take a break. Dipping my feet into the pond, I thought about everything that had happened this morning. It had been a week since my fight with Liv and everything being relieved to me. Liv had been quiet, and I learned from Kade that Aziel had threatened her life if she ever came near me again. Aziel and I had been growing closer, but there was still everything from the past week that we hadn’t talked about. It was like the elephant in the room every time we saw each other. Kade and I would hang out when Aziel had “things to do”. I wasn’t sure what those things were because he refused to talk with me about anything substantial. So, Kade and I hung out. Since the day with Liv, I was always with one of them. I nearly dropped his phone when he spoke behind me. Turning to look at him, he looked steadier on his feet and didn’t appear to be as drunk.“Weren’t you just so drunk you were falling over?”“Wolf metabolism. It’s amazing, no?” He gave me a look like I should know this, but my metabolism was no where what his apparently is. We both continued to look at Kade till he cleared his throat again. I was still sitting on Aziel and that became even more apparent as he shifted uncomfortably underneath me. Quickly I moved to get off and started to fall. Two arms caught me around the waist and heaved me back up. And I was back to straddling Aziel. “How do we keep finding ourselves like this?” I giggled. I collapsed onto Aziel’s bed. It had been hours of shopping with Kade. And I had little to show for it. Kade, on the other hand, had more bags than we could fit into the trunk of the car. We ended up stacking them in the back seat of his car. It was pure insanity that someone could need that many clothes. Then, after it was all over, I decided to move into Aziel’s room. Which took me even more time, even with the little I did have, because his room was such a neat freak disaster, and I didn’t know how to fit into it. At one point, I just gave up and threw my stuff into the corner of his closet.Hearing the door open, I looked up as Aziel entered. When I had finally convinced myself to come out of the bathroom the previous night. I had found Aziel already asleep in bed. I had tried to nudge him awake, but I was unsuccessful. Instead, I curled up into the bed next to him. Waking up in the morning was tough. I was so warm and comfortable sheltered in his arms. Moving around I started to wake up a little more. A muffled groan met my movement, and something was hard against my hip. Realizing what it was, I jumped out of bed and fell on the floor. Laughter met my sudden departure. Running along the trails, we took a break in the cleaning with the pond. Taking my shoes off, I dipped my feet into the water to cool them down. “Are you going to get in too?” I looked over at Aziel, he was just in a pair of shorts and shoes. He looked like a Greek God who just stepped off Mount Olympus. Smiling at me, he kicked is shoes off and steps into the pond.“Are you ready to help me with all the preparations?” He glances over at me with an intense look in his cold blue eyes. I felt warm, but not overly warm. There is something hard, but comfortable underneath me. I feel like I’m floating on a cloud. But I came crashing back to earth when I realize I don’t have any clothes on. Shooting up out of bed, I run to the bathroom. Breathing heavily. Memories come back to me, and I turn a deep shade of red. Looking at myself in the mirror, I don’t look any different, but I feel so strange. Walking over to the shower I turn it on and hop in. The cold water feels good on my skin after a night of burning. Hearing a knock at the door, I turn to look at it and watch as Aziel walks in. Turning back to the water, I locate the shampoo and lather up my hair. Hearing the shower door open, I turn back around to look at Aziel. “Good morning.” “Good morning.” I turn up the heat to the shower and rinse my hair out.
