Chapter 24: A Sprinkle of Jealousy
Anika’s P.O.V
I took in the light pink blouse and dark blue denims that I had put on in the mirror, debating if I should change into a white shirt instead to go with the moss green jacket I was planning on wearing on top.
It was finally the night that I would get to meet my savior; the mysterious woman who had saved my life from that hungry-looking wolf. So far, I had no idea who she was or how she looked, but Axton says she invited both of us to dinner this evening. It was a bit strange that a woman who saved my life was asking me to join her for dinner except for it being the other way around, but I guess some people like things a specific way?... if that even makes sense.
On the other hand, I was still getting used to calling Raaz as Axton. Not that I was used to calling him Raaz for long, but in some way, him getting his memories back meant that it wouldn’t be long before him and I go our separate ways.
