Chapter 8. Dealing With A Baby

Vincent came out of the room with a good, fresh look. Although he was only wearing an old long-sleeved t-shirt and jeans, he looked much better. It was late afternoon, and it was time for dinner. He came over to Kyron, who was sitting on the floor, busy playing with an empty bottle.

"Hey..." Vincent touched Kyron, who grinned widely when he saw him. Vincent also smiled at him.

"You look good in those clothes, kid," said Zach while serving dinner at the dining table not far from them. Vincent just smiled as well.

“Let's have dinner. I've also made porridge for your baby," said Zach again. Vincent nodded and thanked him. He picked up Kyron and put him on a chair. Because Kyron was a baby and he was too small to sit and eat in a normal adult chair, Vincent then put Kyron on his lap.

"Better?" Vincent asked, to which Kyron babbled as if he were saying yes.

"Smart boy!" said Zach, smiling.
