Chapter 48

Tyler called the number again but it wasn't going through.

"We have to call the police." Sheila suggested.

"Do you want her dead?" He yelled.

" I don't know what to do." Tyler tugged at his hair.

"You should call your dad. He might help." Gloria suggested

He looked at her for a while and dialed his number.

"Charlotte's parents must not know she has been kidnapped." He said.

His dad picked the call and he explained everything that has happened within the past few months.

"Why didn't tell me? I am your father Tyler." Zane yelled.

"I'm sorry dad. I didn't want to go to prison." He informed.

"I'm booking the first flight back to New York. This must end once and for all." Zane said and dropped the call.

Tyler sat on the chair in the living room waiting for a call from Kate but he got none.
