Chapter 61 - The Real Oona St Leger

I moved towards the door, not bothering to pick up the sword from its resting place. Where I was going, I didn’t need it.
As I stepped towards the door which led to the spiral staircase, another person stepped out from the shadows.
My eyes flicked up startled by the sudden appearance.
My eyes rounded out when Magda came into view before me.
“Magda?” I questioned, confused with her sudden arrival. “What are you doing here?”
“I am here for the dark lord. Thought I see now my journey was futile.” She mutters, gazing passed me to the pile of Lucifers remains behind me. “You have been busy tonight child.”
I watch her cautiously, unsure if I should be worried that she has witnessed what I have done or not.

I awoke to a light tapping on the bedroom door. Dragging my eyes open I realise I have slept the whole afternoon away, it was pitch black outside. I wake up the next morning to bright light blaring into my face. Holding my hands up to shield my eyes from the light, I realise that I’m back in my bedroom. Still in my clothes from last night and a soft fluffy blanket draped over the top of me. Lilith must have managed to get me upstairs last night. My head is pounding recalling the details of our conversation last night. Somehow I feel like a weight has been lifted from my chest. So much of my life has been lived completely in the dark. Not really knowing who my parents were or where I came from. And now I know. Not only am I Hunter and a half demon, but I am also bound to another person and I am a royal fire wielding kick arse hunter. It was a lot to take in, but it felt right to me, I wasn’t scared of the information. I guess a part of me always new the truth, I just couldn’t remember. I couldn’t remember Lucas, how could I have ever forgotten about him. My heart aches just at the thought of him.
