Chapter 15: Seeing Him Again

Drake saw me and a big grin spread over his pristine white teeth. God why does he have to be so HOT? I need to stay mad at him. It was hard, but I managed to walk and not run over to him. I wanted to throw myself into his arms like nothing had happened between us. I have too much pride to let him get away with how he spoke to me while I was gone though. It was dark out already, but Drake had parked under an old pole light. Its color wasn’t bright, but a dingy yellow. Cars zoomed by us on the street. Neither of us paid much attention to anything other than each other. He was wearing his usual black jacket and ripped black jeans. His hands were in the pockets of his jacket, and he had a look of regret on his face. I stopped walking when I was about three feet from him. I can’t let myself get too close, I wanted so badly to kiss him.
