Ch 17 - The White Star Pack

Cassidy was once again up early, keen to get the planning underway. She could hear some staff already moving to put things in place, and the last thing she wanted was to build the impression that she and Nathan were leaving everything up to them.

She got showered and as she left the bathroom, Nathan stirred. He didn’t need to ask her to know what she was thinking. Instead, he too got up to get ready for the day, and she decided to wait for him.

When he was done, the two of them headed out. They decided that it would be best to eat their breakfast in the kitchen with everyone else, something that surprised the staff. Once the initial awkwardness had passed, they settled into light conversations as Cassidy and Nathan got to know more about the other people living in the castle with them.
