*** Emmett’s POV ***
All this was so damn boring. Around me, the group I hung out with were chatting about a hodgepodge of gossip. Ranging from who got a failing grade on the last test to who found their fated mate that week. All of it was just background noise.
We were sitting in the cafeteria during lunch and from the table we had, there was a good view of the entire room. I let my eyes roam over the whole senior class gathered until I stopped at Sky’s friends. The table they used look so empty now. Her presence was so big, even if she was being quiet, that left a void with her gone.
