It becomes a constant struggle.

Katrina continues to attack me, again and again. And I do the thing I am best at — defend myself.

A moment comes when I stumble over the cliff and barely manage to land on a protective shield down on the ground. It knocks the breath out of me and blood splatters out of my mouth.

She doesn’t waste a moment and starts attacking me again. She can only attack me physically and I know it’s infuriating to her. She wants to control my mind, get inside my head and shatter everything that I am — but she can’t.

Katrina doesn’t want to kill me either because if I die, she won’t be able to take my powers. She wants me to stay down and give up, that’s why she is playing with me.

I admit, it’s embarrassing but I have to stall time to make Plan A work.
