Chapter 68

WOLF

I raise my head and look at the wall in front of me.

I am in the dungeons, on my knees. Silver chains are locked around my wrists, their ends leading up to the wall behind me. This stretches my arms high above my shoulders, the silver digging in my skin and the smell of flesh burning hitting my nostrils.

I think this was the smell which woke me up in the first place. And then the pain followed. Pain doesn’t affect me as much as the smell does. I have always hated these scents and smells.

The metal door to the dungeon is pushed open and Luther steps inside before walking towards me.

I lift my head higher, not giving a fuck about how this gesture makes the silver dig deeper in the skin of my wrists.
