I stay in the room after the embarrassing encounter with Viktor. I am also glad he didn’t come to ask me to take a stroll down his city again.
The night turns into what — I don’t know because everything is dark. I did sleep for some hours and only ended up dreaming about darkness again. This time, the Golden ray didn’t come to claim me and the darkness was also not so eerie anymore.
I was at peace. With everything for a while. Like my mind was breathing in temporary relief and harmony.
When I woke up, a maid was roaming around in my room. She informed me that she had gotten me some clothes.
“ When is the Moon Festival? ” I had asked her before she left.
