Chapter 28 - Best of both worlds...

Mayra/Daisy's POV

"Daisy," I told him.

I don't really know what caught up in my mind but I preferred him not knowing about that part of my life. I know he just helped me, gave me shelter, food, and a job; but I don't want to share that with him... 

Call it intuition or something, it just doesn't feel right...

"Okay, eat it now so after that I will tell you what all you would need to do over here." He said and I stared at the food for a second waiting for him to look away but he didn't.

I picked up the sandwich with my trembling hand and started to eat. He was just staring at me but I didn't care. I was hungry and I had a reason to eat it now. I know how to control it, call it perks of having a bad past but I am thankful that I got this food at last.
