Chapter ten

I was still in pain and recovering from the torture Sebastian had inflicted on me. The slightest movement caused me to wince in pain. I knew that I had to be patient and allow myself to heal, but little did I know that another pain was coming my way.

Clara came into my room, looking even angrier than the last time we spoke. She grabbed me by the hair, and before I could even react, she slammed my head against the wall. My head spun, and I felt like I was going to pass out. But Clara wasn't done yet.

She started hitting me so hard that I couldn't even defend myself. Each blow felt like a hammer hitting me. I tried to scream, but the pain was too much. I couldn't understand why Clara was doing this to me. I knew that we had our disagreements, but this was too much.
