A soft sound echoes as Helen kisses Lucien's feet. The next moment, the Douglases also begin approaching Lucien one by one and kissing his feet.

This goes on for more than twenty minutes before it finally comes to an end.

Lucien is quite emotional. These people at the very last moment suddenly exalted him to the status of a God in their hearts. It's not something that happens often.

"Lucien shed a tear," Declan gasps. The last time he saw Lucien shed a tear was when the young man Ares, told him about his parent's demise. Lucien hardly cries!

He looks at the Douglases and says deeply, "You guys are damn lucky! You made Lucien shed a tear. Consider yourselves family from now on! Lucien would protect you all as a lion would his cub, as a father would his child, as a human being would his pupils, and as a God would his creatures!"

"Thank you, Mr. Wood! Thank you, Master!" The Douglases exclaim, so delig
