Hogwarts Castle, Somewhere in the Scottish HighlandsNovember 30th, 1992, 9:51 AM - MondayHe then stored the mokeskin pouch in an inside pocket of his robes.Erik then did the same with the cup and the locket, storing them inside his mokeskin pouch and putting it inside an internal pocket inside his blazer."So, Mr. Croaker, what do you want to do about the disembodied soul of Tom Riddle?"Erik asked Croaker."The detector that we crafted showed that it was outside the British Isles, so I will have to take that offer that you made to us to help hunt for it."Croaker said to Erik."No problem. Selena will love to hunt it down."Erik said to Croaker, letting a big grin appear on his face just imagining what Selena will do to the soul of Tom Riddle."And when can you help us hunt it down?"Croaker asked Erik."How about this Wednesday? December 2nd?"Erik asks Croaker, giving him a date."That's good for us. What time?"Croaker replied and asked Erik."Two o'clock in the afternoon. Meet
Hogwarts Castle, Somewhere in the Scottish HighlandsNovember 30th, 1992, 10:23 PM - MondaySelena, hearing her name, took Erik's side and prepared herself for opening the door in the stone bust. She took a deep breath and steeled herself. Selena then pointed Slytheryn's sword's blade to the stone bust, pumped her magic into the sword and said in an out loud voice."OPEN."Different from the other two doors, the stone bust stood quiet and then, its eyes started to glow with an eerie green light. Selena felt that the statue was looking directly at her, judging her, and she looked directly at its green eyes while standing in place. For an instant nothing happened, and then the stone bust's eyes went off and the group heard the now common sound of stone grinding at stone. The stone bust's mouth started opening. It continued to open until its lower lips were just centimeters above the stagnant black water. Erik then heard a loud hissing sound."It's coming!"Erik said, and he felt Joan an
Hogwarts Castle, Somewhere in the Scottish HighlandsDecember 1st, 1992, 01:21 AM - Thursday"I met some centaurs that live in the forest."Joan said to Erik. They had left Selena alone a little with Hilda's body to say her final goodbyes and were now out the main chamber, by the round door."And?"Erik said, expecting Joan to continue her tale. And she did."I found a group of them galloping in the direction where Selena was with the basilisk and appeared in front of them to stop them. One of the centaurs of the group ordered me to step aside. And I replied that they were welcome to pass by me if they wanted to look a thousand year old basilisk in the eyes. That shut the loud one up and a more gentle one asked me to explain. I said that I was one of the wives of Erik Ravenclaw, Lord of Ravenclaw and Hogwarts' castle and that I was entrusted to warn the denizens of the forest to stay out of the way of the basilisk. He asked what a basilisk would have been doing in the forest and I tol
Hogwarts Castle, Somewhere in the Scottish HighlandsDecember 1st, 1992, 08:31 PM - ThursdayErik, Selena, Joan and Leona were again inside the main chamber of Salazar's Secret Chamber. They had teleported directly inside it this time, as was way easier this way than flying down a bathroom's pipe.First thing that Erik did was to summon and launch, again, dozens of little balls of white light. With that, the chamber was well illuminated again."Okay girls. Let's divide and conquer. Selena and Joan will tackle the magic doors. Leona and I will see to the mechanical ones."Erik said to his wives and Selena walked to the first magical door, the one in the stone bust's mout, with Joan going after her. Erik then turned to Leona."Okay, Leona, lead the way."Erik said to Leona, who nodded her head and turned to where the first mechanical door was located. He followed Leona to one of the towering pillars and she went for the wall near it. Leona stopped by the wall and put her right hand over
Hogwarts Castle, Somewhere in the Scottish HighlandsDecember 1st, 1892, 9 PMSusan was not a happy ghost. While she floated through walls in the direction of the Great Hall, she pondered on the happenings of the last night. Someone, somehow, managed to open uncle Salazar's secret chamber and released his beast. That the message the person left on the wall promised more victims beyond the poor petrified cat just contributed to aggravating her worry. And that a second year student still was the main suspect of the attack even after other ghosts confirmed his alibi, that he was indeed in Sir Robert' 500th deathday party, aggravated her worry even more.Entering the Great Hall and looking around from the place she floated, some meters above Ravenclaw table, Susan's ghostly eyes observed all the students dining. She heard the murmurs and gossip about the attack and the second year Gryffindor student, and noted the glares that he was receiving when the other kids thought that he was not lo
Hogwarts Castle, Somewhere in the Scottish HighlandsNovember 21st, 1992, 11:50 PMSusan could be seen, again, in her chair at the council room. Her face showed a frown while she thought about the happenings of the day. The chamber was indeed opened. And a student was attacked. That he was not killed was a good thing. Apparently his obsession in taking photos of everything magical saved his life. While she pondered on the events of the day, the clock in the room hit midnight, and the other three members of the Hogwarts Ghostly Council arrived and took their seats."..."The silence was deafening. They all know about the consequences of the chamber being open again. The danger that it presented to the castle population was enormous. Fat Friar, not enjoying the silence in the room, resolved to break it."So it happened…"The other three ghosts, who were looking at the center of the table where a big Hogwarts shield was embedded, raised their heads to look at the Fat Friar for a moment a
Hogwarts Castle, Somewhere in the Scottish HighlandsNovember 22nd, 1992, 6:45 PMSusan, stoic as ever with her 'eternal' poker face, enters the Hogwarts' Great Hall floating through one of its walls. She looks around and notices that the other three Ghostly Council members are already there, floating a few meters above each of their tables. Susan takes her position above the Ravenclaw table and continues to look around. Besides the Ghostly Council members, she sees few other ghosts around. The students are still pouring in the Great Hall, but they are in their majority already there, each going to their house's table and taking a seat. The staff members are there too, at least in their majority, still missing the castle's mediwitch, the meddling old goat of a Headmaster, and the dungeon's bat of a Professor. Nothing new about that… After all, it seems that old goats like to have dungeon's bats as pets. And the mediwitch has her responsibilities. Finally, it seems that all students ha
Hogwarts Castle, Somewhere in the Scottish HighlandsNovember 22nd, 1992, 7:01 PMThe Great Hall was silent. The appearance of four people just after the show light stopped was not a normal thing. It was like they have just… teleported there. The man gave the impression of strength, wild strength, to any that looked at him. With his almost two meters of height, wide chest and squared shoulders, any would think that he was a veteran swimmer. He was wearing a very dark blue suit, so dark that it was almost black, a white button shirt under the suit coat, and no tie. His hair was of a kind of blond-redish color, braided in an old nordic style, with no hair to the sides and the braid reaching just to his shoulders. His face is clean of hair, with exception of the eyebrows and a short goatee, both of the same color of his hair. Skin of a lightly tanned white. And his eyes, of a gray-blue mixture, like the sky cleaning just after a storm. Together, these were what gave him the impression of
