THIRD-PERSON POV“Who attacked you, Randy?” Alpha Nolan asked as he held a glass of water to his warrior's face. With great difficulty, the powerful wolf trembled with pain as he struggled to sip from the cup of water. He coughed and then he gasped for breath. The alpha quickly thrust Randy into a sitting position, knocking on his back, hoping for some ease. “Easy there, Randy. Take it slow,” the alpha commanded. Randy sucked up some more air, and then he settled back on his pillow. His bones in his feet were badly broken and his eyes were sunken into dark craters in his face. Because of Miranda's werewolf senses, she was the first to notice the she-wolf jumping towards them. She tried to shove Nigel out of the way, but it was a little too late. The she-wolf's foot caught Miranda's chin as her talons scratched at the skin, the force was like a kick to the face, sending her back hitting the bench. “YOU BITCH,” the wild girl screamed, stretching her arms as she grabbed for Nigel's neck. “HE IS MINE!” Eliza growled as she circled her fingers around Nigel's neck. “You’re crazy,” Nigel struggled to speak against the girl’s hold. “Eliza, stop it now!” Miranda begged as she tried to get the girl to let go of Nigel.
