Thirteen

Heena was enmeshed between saving her dad and being an obedient daughter. Roy forwarded to her an attorney contact. Now that Heena knew that no lawyer is keen to take up her dad's case, she wanted to reach out to Roy's family lawyer. But, then she thought back to her dad who kicked against the idea. She was excessively vulnerable, she just wished for the trial to be over and done with.

She agreed on having a dialogue with Roy and learning what his opinion would be. If he was in her shoes right now, what would he do?

Ring! Ring!! Ring!!! Roy's phone rang twice before he picked it up.

"Hi, babe," Heena spoke without life in her.

"My shawty! What's up?" Roy raised a question.

"I am fine," she lied.

"You didn't sound like it. Did you get the number that I sent to you?" Roy asked.

"Yes, but I am yet to reach him out"

"Watchu waiting for girlie? Time is not on our side. Call him and fix an appointment with him. I have already briefed him and he has agreed to take the case…" Roy expressing h
