Shawn realised Heena would stop by Leah's house first on her way to the office, so he sent a text to Leah ahead of Heena's arrival to inform her about the slap she got from their mother earlier.

Leah felt terrible for Heena, she wished she could wind the hand of time, she has been staying at the entrance for Heena.

A few minutes later, Heena pressed the button, and immediately Leah freed the door, the mark on Heena's face was too obvious. "Only heaven knows for long she has been crying on her way here?" Leah wondered inwardly as she walked Heena to her room.

"What happened to your face?" Leah asked as she can't keep to herself any longer.

"It's nothing. Hmmm, I guess something entered my eyes," Heena lied.

"Oh really, the stuff must be huge to have left a mark on your face," Leah said sarcastically.

"Help me with some of your makeup, let me apply. I'm getting late to work," Heena said to stop Leah asking further questions.
