Three

That car looks precisely like a popular car to her, though she saw it faintly and it was on the other side of the road. The car was driving into Molicano city while they were on their way out of the city. She wished her dad would turn the wheel around to have her doubt-ridden. Her dad concentrated on his driving, so he obviously did not see the car on the other side. Heena was unable to see who drove the car because the glass was tinted and there was no way she could see through the closed glass.

Suddenly, her dad turned the wheel around, and in the blink of an eye, they were facing Molicano already. She was happy that with the way her father is driving, they might catch up with the car, to satisfy her curiosity.

"Dad, why are we going back? She asked. Heena craved to know if they were both on the same page.

"Dear sorry fastened your seat belt well cause am about to unveil the James Bond in me." She was startled by her father's statement.

"Mr. James Bond, please drive with caution even if we can't catch up with them," Heena let out.

"Dear, what are you talking about? I'm not catching up with anyone, I forgot the file that Bari brought for me earlier, and I need to work on it tonight," Mr. Ro'Sau explained.

She was happy to know that her flimsy wish was granted by her father unknowingly. As her father was driving, she was peeping through the side glass, she sat in the front seat with her father. She was so uneasy by doing so, she attracted her father's attention.

"Hey! Are you okay? Cause you don't look like it." Mr. Ro'Sau asked.

"I'm fine dad, just looking at the beautiful creations. You know we don't have such in Ordana, despite being our country's capital.

"You are very clever. Can you see one of the reasons why I like coming here? You can't Imagine how colourful this particular area always is during the Christmas festival."

While the father and daughter conversation was going on, Heena did not abandon her mission. Of course, Molicano is more lively than Ordana. People living in Ordana are more business-minded than adding colour to the streets.

They are approaching Elbay supermarket. Usually, there's always lite traffic because of the customers that are driving out after shopping. The supermarket is one of a kind, there's nothing that you are looking for that's not available, moreso, they sell at a discount price.

They have quality goods, and they are swift at attending to customers. In a nutshell, Elbay is a cool place to visit, especially with your loved ones.

There was no traffic light directing the queue but there is a traffic warden that does the job perfectly. Heena let glass, she was feeling the fresh air with her hand that was outside. As the traffic warden was about to direct their car, Heena saw the peculiar parked outside Elbay supermarket.

It was the same colour and the plate number is almost the same just that she was unable to see the last digit because there was an image that shades her from beholding the last digit, plus there were been driving in a rush, so she can't ask her dad to slow down because of many vehicles that surrounded them.

"Dad, why does mom hate coming to Molicano?" This question looks more like its investigation. "I mean you both started your life here together, why did she hate this beautiful city overnight?" She added.

"She has her undisclosed reasons for not wanting to come here, just as I have my reasons for being attached to this place," Ro'Sau said.

"But dad, what if mom is just…?" Her dad quickly stopped her from saying whatever she had to say.

Mr. Ro'Sau's mood changed to an unhappy one "No more Molicano conversation! Understand?"

"Understood!" She shouted. There was a big secret behind her parents' story about their early life in Molicano, if not she doesn't understand how one doted on the city and the other hated the city with a great passion. Funny enough Molicano is a fun city, and their mother painted it to be an evil place.

Heena intends to say "what if mom comes here in disguises alone." Back to the familiar car, the car looks exactly like her mother's. The beginning of the plate number is the same, she could have known if it was her mom that she saw or not if she was able to obtain the last digit.

There was a heavy disappointment on Heena's face as she could not guess the last digit of the car plate number. She wished she had the supernatural ability to know the number.

Each time their mom tells them a bad story about Molicano, she always feels that there's more to it. The real problem now is that both her parents don't like talking about it.

In less than 30 minutes they arrived at the mansion, Mr. Ro'Sau got down, entered the living room, and brought out the file. He double-checked if he locked the door well.

When Heena mentioned why he likes to visit Molicano, he wished he could tell her the truth and all. However, he feared that the truth would damage her as she has a feeble mind. Also, he and Trisi promised each other not to tell the children, most especially Heena the truth about what happened in Molicano years ago, this is the best he can do to protect her as a father.

He knew without him around, Heena's future would be in great turmoil, that's why he carefully planned all his steps before the trial. He's just waiting for the trial to be over and done with.

Heena is not exactly twenty-five years, she still has a few months to have her silver jubilee celebration, and her father is secretly planning a mind-blowing surprise for her.

He loved Heena the most not because of Heena but because of her mother. Is just funny how a father loves her daughter because of the mother, and the mother bore hatred toward her daughter. Ro'Sau's family is a very difficult one to understand.

Mr. Ro'Sau is somehow happy with the ongoing trial because he will have more time to plan the success of his daughter's birthday and probably, Heena would take over the leadership position earlier before she clocks twenty-seven years.

The file that Mr. Bari brought for him is his great masterpiece plan for Heena, even if the files fall into the wrong hands, they can't do anything with it, the words inside are encrypted, and only he knows the deciphering key. The least they would do to it is to burn it and he doesn't want that to happen.

Mr. Ro'Sau was confident that the trial wouldn't linger for more than seven days. He knew all the accusations were fabricated and the authorities would do the right thing to catch the real culprit.

One thing that baffled Ro'Sau was who could have struck him without warning. Still, like a dream to him, he went to the office from his home happily, and he had to run through the back door because of the cameras around.

"I need to see the face behind this whole thing," he mumbled.

"Dad, are you talking to me?" Heena asked. She knew her dad said something but she was unable to hear him correctly. She was still brooding about the notable resemblance between the vehicle she saw and that of her mom.

It wouldn't have had a deep meaning to her if the location was within Ordana, the fact that her mother dislikes Molicano was what awakened her inquisitory. It's not likely that the driver drove the car there, it's already past office hours.

Mom doesn't like the driver to drive her after office hours, she said she can't afford to pay for the overtime. She always nags about the last person who worked overtime for her many years ago and betrayed her in the end. She doesn't have the energy to deal with such things again. Believe me when I say all these happened even before I was born.

Mom sometimes is a drama queen, let me not forget to tell you that she likes attention. She always argued with my dad for not paying much attention to her. Well, she does this whenever dad and I spend time alone together.

If not for what's going on in dad's office at the moment, as it's almost seven in the evening and dad and I are still out, she would have sent a series of messages to me, which I often find amusing.

"Heena, enough! Bring my husband home now." "Hey! Are you planning to snatch him away from me? He is mine and mine alone." If I should begin to list out her messages, tomorrow we will still be in this same spot.

Speaking about the devil, mum's message just came in. 'If you are planning to sleep outside, send my husband home to me in one piece.' I don't know why mum feels I am dragging her man who is my dad with her.

"Dad, how about we grab a chicken to pacify your wife?" Heena raised a suggestion.

"Sure! Let's do just that," Ro'Sau said as he tried to manage the road.

They went to tasty chicken stands as they got to Ordana, to please Trisi just get a chicken from this stand, she can't resist the aroma.

Has Ro'Sau was trying to find a place to park his car well at the tasty chicken stands, Heena saw a man coming out through the exit, his back view wanted to look like the same man she saw at her mother's office.
