Rachel’s POV

I hugged him and finally let go.

“You don’t have to cry; let’s be bold enough to finish what they started. He said that and cleaned my eyes. I stared at him and smiled, nodding slowly.

I was so glad he still hasn’t forgotten and that he kept his promise all this time.

“You have done so much already; thank you so much. I said, looking directly into his blue eyes.

“Rachel, you don’t have to thank me. He laughed softly. Once I am done with whatever I will do tomorrow, we will both go to Laura’s house to ask her questions. He voiced.

“Alright, you should go and have some rest now; today was a long day for you. I insisted, and he nodded in agreement.

“And I’ll also leave you to rest. He stretched to my neck and kissed my lower cheek close to my ear. “Good night.” He whispered in my ear.

I smiled when he looked at my face. “Good night.” I answered, and he smiled, stood, and left.

He left the room and closed the door immediately. I fell onto my bed and hugged my pillow tightly
