Rachel’s POV

Rachel, you may leave; I will talk to David.” Scott said. I nodded and turned to glare at David before leaving.

Who does that boy think he is?

I walked into my room and slammed the door. I changed into light clothes and went to bed. Immediately, I fell asleep.

The morning sun struck my eyes. I shaded the sun with my fingers and stood up from the bed. I gave a wild yawn and stretched out my hands.

I sat on my bed, trying to figure out how today would go. I hope no one finds out about David and me.

I flung myself back to bed and groaned. They will definitely find out. I can’t stop myself from going to school, and besides that, I might die of loneliness in this house.

I got up quickly to prepare for school. I was done with my bath, dried my hair, and applied my lotion. I donned blue baggy pants and a black shirt. My normal way of dressing made me more than comfortable that way.
