CHAPTER 17: TRIAL BEGINS.

The councils and everyone in the courtroom stood up one after the other as they saw the Alpha pushing in his mate into the courtroom with smiles on their faces.

" Where's this, River?" Estelle whispered. She could feel the various eyes on her as River pushed her into this place that looks like a company's conference room.

" It's the courtroom." He whispered back into her ears, eliciting a giggle from her.

" Alpha," Lair called. " Alpha Reid's requesting to join the trial, I'm not too sure about this. He's an–"

" Let him. He was a big help to Elle, so just let him in....as a reward. There's also nothing to be unsure about, nothing would happen." The Alpha replied and Lair sighed before heading out.

Lord Chels gave a respectful bow when Estelle's gaze met his. Estelle didn't know when she nervously looked away, why would a man so old and enough to be her father bow for her? She noticed the others doing the same thing anytime she met their gazes and she turned to River to complain sil
