'Caleb,

I cannot begin to explain to you how grateful I am of having known someone as kindhearted, generous and thoughtful as you. You have been there for me Caleb, through thick and through thin. You have helped me when I had given up on my self. You helped me when I was sick, weak, depressed or sometimes just plain stupid.

After what happened two years ago, I thought I had not only lost my father and my mother but everyone and everything I held dear to me but now I know that though I had lost a lot that day, I gained you, your friendship, your love and your undying devotion and for that, I am grateful. You were a breath of fresh air, always keeping me sane and grounded.

Please forgive me Caleb. I know you must indeed hate me right now for just abandoning everything and leaving like I did but I had no other option.
