ETHAN'S POV

I watch Jackson make a beeline towards Scott's old house. I feel bad for him. He only ever wanted happiness. I'm glad I had kept my old hands clean in terms of females. I wouldn't know how to tell my Ava that I had had relationships before her. I turn back towards the scum in front of me and sneer.

I've always hated this male. I've seen how some females flinch when he comes around. He is trouble. He doesn't deserve the Matthews name. Scott and Lisa would have already ripped his hide off if they heard how he speaks to and about females.

I square my shoulders as I begin to address the members. I can feel Ava's presence, and it's so calming. I love the feeling of being mated.
