“This doesn’t make a lick of sense.” Brett groan, after having heard the prophecy.

“Maybe not. Perhaps we aren’t looking at it in the way we need to.” Caleb stated, taking the paper off the desk.

“Alright mister wise guy. You figure it out then.” Brett groaned.

“Well, maybe I will.” Caleb remarked.

“Then do it then. We are all waiting.” Brett retorted, rolling his eyes at Caleb.

“Just give me a minute asshat.” Caleb jabbed at Brett, flipping him off, before looking back at the prophecy.

I looked at the two and shook my head. They were bickering back and forth like grumpy old men. I swear it was like they couldn’t be in the same room together.
