Alpha Draven was sitting in the conference room at the pack house. There was no meeting scheduled that day, the Alpha only wanted to sit there that day. As he sat there, his mind raced with different thoughts. He thought about Jessica then he thought about Alpha Nathan and his proposal, he thought about his diminishing stock of Wolfsbane and then he thought about Jessica. Sebastian and Vivian were simply shocked at the new findings. They couldn't believe what they were hearing. "Isabelle played a trick on Jessica," Draven spoke up. "A trick that would have cost Jessica her life." As he said this, his eyes flashed dangerously at the girls.It was then that it hit Sebastian. It was a Saturday and Jessica didn't want to rise early from bed. She had woken up long ago but chose to stay in bed. As she lay there in bed enjoying her quiet time and going through her thoughts, she heard the door open from downstairs and she heard voices. Jessica's senses had begun to heighten as well after her strength developed. She could hear more than the average human now but still, her hearing and sense of smell were not to be compared with that of other wolves yet. Even in her dull hearing, Jessica recognized the voice downstairs though she could not make out the discussion. She quickly climbed out of bed and descended the stairs quickly but when she got to a point where she could see what was going on, she paused and peaked carefully. Draven stood in the living room with his back turned to where Jessica hid. He was in a conversation with Jessica's father while Jessica's mother stood by the side dressed in her cooking apron and a large kitchen spoon clutched in her hands
