SIX

After a long day from work, it was 4:29pm, Nathan stood with his jeep at the front of the gate. As Carly, Neil and Celeste walked to the jeep.

“I’m quite feeling guilty leaving you all at home, Neil make sure you have a glass of milk before going to bed.”

“Sure, mom.” He turned to Nathan. “Nathan take good care of my mom.” He winked and ran off to the house.

“If you’re sure.” She hesitated even as she longed to leave with Nathan.

“I’m absolutely sure, Nathan would take good care of you isn’t it?” Carly looked at Nathan.

“With absolute care, don’t mistake that.” He replied with a wink.

“Bye” Carly and exchanged hugs and she left with Nathan.

Four hours later, Celeste was sitting across from Nathan in the light-house Hotel away from Nocturndely.

“God, you’re gorgeous.” He lifted a glass of champagne he’d ordered in a silent toast. “Beauty, courage and intelligence, all wrapped in a package. The gods were definitely generous to you, when they were handling out gifts, Celeste.”

He leaned across the table and skimmed a fingertip beneath her eyes. “The shadows are gone and you seem more relaxed.”

“I am.” It was the truth “However, if you keep touching me like that way, my nerves are going to get all tangled up.”

“No problem. We’ll just go back down-stairs to our room and untangle them.”

“Nathaniel.” She called his name in full and blushed

“How hungry are you?”

“Not very. Not now.”

“Why don’t we order something up from room service later? Much, much, later?”

“Fine”

On his feet in a flash, Nathan tossed some bills onto the table, placed his hand on her back in a proprietary way and led her out of the restaurant.

“Have I thanked you for buying that dress?” he asked as the elevator (lift) closed behind them.

It was the dress she was trying on- Carly bought on her behalf, the day he came into her room.

“Yes, but not in the last twenty minutes.” Dizzy with an appetite that had nothing to do with the need for French food, Celeste twined her arm around his neck and leaned against his hard body.

“Then, I’ve definitely been remiss.” When he lowered his mouth to within a breath from hers, Celeste held on tighter bracing herself for his kiss. Instead he began nibbling her neck. “But don’t worry, darling, we’re just getting started.”

He wanted her. Really wanted her. The idea was as terrifying as it was thrilling. What if she couldn’t satisfy him? Celeste worried. What if he regretted it later if he found out the truth, what if…?

“Nathan…” her mind flogged, her voice drifted off and her body arched instinctively as he skimmed a hot kiss down her neck. “I think this is… oh God.” She pulled face. “I have to tell you something first, Nathan.”

“Does it really matter now?”

“Yes, it really matters.”

They got to their room and he sat her down on a chair beside the bed.

“I’m all ears.” He struggled fighting off his desires when he let her hair loosen down. Her reddish-brown hair skimmed down her body stopped at her back. He brushed it back from her ear. He looked into her eyes and became curious of what she was going to say.

“It’s about Neil’s father. He was my first love who betrayed me. I left to the city with him, after two years of giving birth to Neil, he vanished. It really broke my heart. I felt miserable…” And the story went on.

Patiently, listened to all she said and he asked “You couldn’t forget him, right? You still love him then?”

“No, never, he’s late now, he died when Neil was five after I researched the last time. She exhaled “I thought I should tell you. If I was going tp be honest with you?”

“Oh darling,” he rose her up to him. “I don’t need your past, miserable days that are gone. I just want you now to know you now. It doesn’t matter whether you like me now or not. I surely know you want me too.”

She hugged closely “Nathaniel” she replied huskily, her lips parted in anticipation.

His hands tangled her hair – he had always wanted to see how her hair looked like since. She always parks them into a pony, as he mouth-captured her tingling lips again, his kisses growing deeper. More drugging. The other was doing glorious things to her breasts that sent a sweet pleasure humming through her veins even as the caressing touch made her want more.

“Is this a good…idea?” she asked as he kissed her eyes, her cheek, her throat as she drew back, her hair tumbling over his hands at her back. Sparks flashed from his touch, skittering over her skin and sinking deep into her belly. She clutched him as if afraid of falling, her fingers bonding into fabric that covered his back.

“I think it’s a wonderful idea,” he whispered against her throat. “You can’t imagine what it costs me to keep my hands of you.”

His hands strayed along her ribs, igniting chills across the silk-clad skin. She could hardly breath for the freezing, burning fire, he was unleashing in her. It frightened her not because she’d never known anything like it before but because craved it so desperately.

His fingers edged towards her breast and she found herself wanting to urge him on.

Her breathing quickened as he pulled the dress off her, unfastened her bra with a quick flick of the wrist and began torturing her unfettered breast with first his hands, then his mouth. Celeste shivered as his teeth tugged on a taut nipple, causing sparks that straight down to that warm, moist place between her legs. Her head spun, her body craved as they landed on the bed. Desire rose so high and so hot it stunned.

“Please, Nathan.” Her fingers turned unusually clumsy as she fumbled with the metal button on his jeans. “I need you.” It was not an easy admission. Celeste had never been one to give up control. She’d never been one to give up control, until Nathan.

“And I need you, too, sweetheart.” He captured her hand and pulled it away lifting it to his lips. When he began sucking on her fingers, one at a time, she felt a strong, corresponding pull deep inside her. “But I don’t want thing to go too fast.”

When he trailed a lazy fingertip down her stomach, through the nest of soft curls into the aching, dark warmth below, Celeste heard a whimper and realized that it had come from between her own ravished lips.

“Fast would be okay” she managed as she bucked against his intimate touch. Need was too weak a word. She craved him, with every burning atom in her body. “In fact, fast would be fine” he laughed at that, a deep rich sound that rumbled through her. “Next time” he promised. “But only if you would.”

Desperate to touch, she pulled her hands free, ripped open his shirt and pressed first her palms, then her lips against the hard wall of his chest. His heart was pounding like a jack, hammer, vivid proof that she was not the only one so harshly affected. His skin was hot and moist, and she touch her tongue to it, Celeste tasted a faint tang of salt.

She’d always been adamant about being with man once again, after her unfortunate experience. But now, as she surrendered to Nathan’s murmured words, his tender touches, his devastating kisses, if perhaps she’d been wanting for him, without knowing she’d waiting.

As the night went on, Nathan proved to be a man of his words as he drew out their love making, treating her to a pleasure so sublime it nearly made her shatter.

And when he finally took her over that final peak. Then she was here, exactly where she was fated to be. In his arms.

Celeste woke slowly, reluctant to leave the cozy little hut that her dream lover had built from palm fronds at the sugar shite sand. The first thing she saw was Nathan, sprawled in a wing chair beside the window. He was wearing jeans and a chambray shirt he hadn’t bothered to button. All it took was the sight of that broad chest to assure her that last night’s passion had been neither hallucination nor dream. The warmth in eyes only reconfirmed that fact.

“How long have you been awake.”

“A while, just watching you sleep like a baby.”

She smiled and glanced over the dock amazed at the time. “I’m sorry. I’ll go get dressed quickly.”

“I’ll be waiting in the car downstairs,” then he buttoned his shirt.

She covered herself with the blanket, climbed to the outside where he was. And kissed him briefly on the lips. “I’ll be right behind him as he exits the room.”

After a long night together, finally back home after the drive. They walked in her gate and stopped at the back of the gate.

“How do you fell?” he asked after a moment of silence.

“Terrific, maybe” she admitted shyly.

He cupped her face with his hands, “You’re a little tire, get some sleep.”

The light touch of his fingertips on her cheek caused a renewed rise of desire. Had it only been desire, Celeste figured she could have handled it. After having experience

Nathan’s exquisite lovemaking, it would only be natural to want more. Any woman would. It was the realization that she needed him, needed him in ways that had nothing to do with sex, that had her-shaken.

“Perhaps, just a little,” she admitted in a voice, she wished was stronger.

His fingertips skimmed up her cheek and into her hair “You just need to spend a little more time getting touch with your inner-self.”

His smile- his lips were smiling; his eyes were smoldering in a way that created a spike in her hormones. Since looking into those sparkling eyes made her feel so relieved, comfortable of his so admirable charms and understanding.

Celeste concentrated on his lips, which proved a big mistake when she could recall their taste in exact, glorious details.

“Perhaps I do.” Her legs were turning as shaky ass her voice. “Are you offering to help?”

“Absolutely.” When his mouth covered her, Celeste could feel his smile broaden. As she twined her arms around his neck and went up on her toes to kiss him back, Celeste’s answering smile relished.
