Chapter Sixty Seven

Ava had excitedly mentioned throwing a bridal shower for me. Even though I wasn't feeling up for it, she went ahead with the plans, with Amelia's assistance, of course.

As Ava guided me into the room, I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. I was surprised and a bit overwhelmed as the group of girls welcomed me to "Club Harper." Seeing all these new faces made me both nervous and excited.

Suddenly, one of the girls rushed over and hugged me tightly. I was taken aback, trying to find the place where I knew her from. "Let me go say hi to everyone," I quickly said, trying to politely excuse myself from the unexpected embrace.

I made my way through the room, exchanging greetings and smiles with the other guests. Despite my initial reluctance, I couldn't deny that their warmth and enthusiasm started to lift my spirits.

Amelia enveloped me in a tight hug, her excitement palpable. It was clear she was truly happy for me, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for such a supportive friend.
