Chapter 13

Henry had been under medical supervision for two weeks, but his father, Mr. Carlton, and Henry's best friend, Lionel, weren't satisfied with his progress. They insisted that he stay in the hospital for a few more weeks before the doctors discharged him.

Henry was getting impatient and annoyed at his father and Lionel's persistent requests. He wanted to leave the hospital and go home. He couldn't take the constant beeping of the machines and the sterile smell of the hospital any longer.

"I'm feeling much better now, Dad. Can we please go home?" Henry pleaded, hoping his father would listen to him this time,

"I understand that you want to go home, son. But your health is our top priority. The doctors know best more than us, and they have recommended that you stay for a few more weeks so you can rest and recover completely," Mr. Carlton explained.

"I know what the doctors said, but I'm tired of staying in this hospital. I want to go home and be in my own bed, watch my own TV, and eat
