Chapter Sixteen

Lucio was in the living room working on a project when Lisa strides out from her bedroom, dressed up and sauntering towards the door. He looked up at her, wondering where she was going. It was one of the cold nights in the bustling city of New York.

"Where are you going?"

Lisa ignored him. She wasn't going to give him an explanation of where she would or wouldn't be going to. She was still mad at him for choosing Elliott Wang over her. Not that she was anything to him but she thought she was special or at least important in his life.

"Lisa" Lucio could sense that she was still mad at him. She had avoided him at the office as if he was a plague and he was tired of it. They would have to talk at some point so they better talk about everything before tomorrow when Ms. Wang comes over to his office to sign the rest of the contract.

Without saying a word to him, she walks closer to the door. This causes Lucio to lower the document down, his adrenaline rushes up.
