Steph stretched her hands to the other side of the bed and then she realized there was no one there.

She sat upright on the bed, rubbing her eyes with her fingers. She yawned and forced her eyes open. She realized that there was no one there. She wondered were Alex could have gone to.

She stood from the bed and went into the bathroom to brush her teeth and rinse her face. After she was done with that, she went out of the room and decided to check if he was downstairs.

Immediately she stepped out the room, she heard voices coming from downstairs. It sounded like Alex and his mum.

Steph wasn't sure so she decided to check but at first, she wanted to check on Isabella in her room. She walked towards Isabella's room and realized that there was no one there.

She went down the stairs and as she got closer to the living room, the voices got clearer and louder.
