Chapter 15: Funeral
Mandy saw her mom lying on the floor, lifeless. There was blood on her chin down to her clothes.
She ran towards her mom and held her in her arms.
"Mom, wake up!" She screamed while shaking her mom's body.
She was crying like a child. She could not believe that her mom would leave her this soon. She's still preparing herself.
"You're still fine yesterday." She continued to wake her mom but there's no more response.
"I will still take care of you, mom. Why did you leave me so suddenly? How could I live now?"
Mandy's face was already wet by her tears and her eyes were bulging red. She was going to hold her mom's hand when she noticed her phone.
She wiped her tears away and picked up the phone. She checked it and saw that she made several calls to Donna. She imagined how much pain she suffered that she needed their help.<
