Chapter 9

Author’s POV

“She can not date you Law because she is my girlfriend” Chase said from behind Cara.

All the heads whipped in the direction of the door of the classroom where Chase was standing with George and John.

But Cara was still frozen to her place upon hearing his voice. Sapphire glanced back at Chase who has now started walking in their direction then she looked at her friend, who didn’t even move to look back.

Chase came and stood beside Cara. He glanced at her face for a moment to find her beyond shocked because of his words, as he expected.

Then his eyes moved to Law who was looking at his face with a weird kind of expression, which he didn’t expect at all.

After few seconds Law composed his look and asked, “What did you say?”

“Just what you heard.” Chase replied.

Law chuckled at his words, “And you want me to believe that? Look at her face, she doesn’t even know what’s going on”.
