13. The Climate Is Changing

Ashlynn’s POV:

Once again, my kiss with Julian had ended as soon as it had started. But I can testify first hand that for the 3.5 seconds that he had his lips on mine, it was hot and it sent warm, tingly currents all over my body.

I wonder what would happen if we kissed longer. . .

For a moment, my mind actually went blank shut and I was still recovering from the momentary kiss with him. I was lost in my own fantasy only to be jolted back to reality by Julian tugging my hand as we moved forward on the red carpet and his bodyguards paved way for us.

We entered into the reception of the grand hotel and I had nostalgia from the last time I had walked past a hotel reception, with a pink suitcase and my twin sister's remains in it. I have no regrets though, she had to die for sleeping with my ex-fiancè Tristan.
