Liz Walters sniffed as she wiped her tear-streaked cheeks. “I didn’t know I have an asshole of a cousin!” She mumbled to herself, unbothered by the people close to her staring at her as though she was insane. “I can’t believe I’m fucking broke.” She couldn’t stop whining about her misery. She lifted the glass to her mouth to take another sip. But she got distracted when a man came to stand beside her and ordered in a deep, tipsy voice, “Scotch on the rocks.”
