Chapter 100
Audrey did her best to contain her emotion inside her when someone knocked on the door. She was about to mourn again after the joyous moments she had recently. It made her realized one thing, sadness always accompanied happiness and the two of them were never separated from each other.
“Miss, Madam is on the phone and would like to speak with you.” It was the housekeeper’s voice.
“All right. Give me a sec,” Audrey replied and carefully wiped her face. She opened the door and hand out her hand. “You can leave now,” she said after getting the wireless phone from Rebecca who was worriedly checking out her puffy eyes.
“Yes, Miss. If you need anything just let me know,” the housekeeper responded and bowed her head before walking away.

Mrs. Vargas’ giggles echoed through Audrey’s ears. Her eyes were focused on the wall in front of her while Shane’s hands tighten its grip around her. She felt his chin on her right shoulder and his breath was fanning her neck.
