With everything said and almost done, the night seemed too long for Shane. He couldn’t sleep after meeting the person whom his mother was suspected about the cause of Audrey’s car accident five years ago. They had a casual talk about something for a while. Shane was somewhat grateful that the person didn’t stay for long, or he might lose his cool and start a confrontation about the issue involving Audrey.

Shane could still not forget how his heart stopped beating for a second when he heard about the news of Audrey’s accident five years ago. Perhaps, Audrey wouldn’t decide to turn the car around after she reached the resort where they were supposed to have their honeymoon. If he was there with her, she might have avoided the accident and Audrey wouldn’t suffer emotionally within the past few years since she got involved in that said accident. And all those things were already in the past. A
