“I think I love you,” Shane whispered which she could barely hear. Audrey smiled at him when she failed to figure out what he said. She felt exhausted and sleepy. All she wanted to do was to sleep while hugging the man beside her, afraid that when she woke up the next morning… he’d be gone.

“Don’t leave me,” she mumbled and closed her eyes. She was on Shane’s shoulder with her arm wrapped around him. They were both sweating after what they did, but she still found his smell nice. In fact, he smells better when he was sweating compared to when he was not.

“Silly. You didn’t even reply properly to what I said,” Shane muttered and lifted her head to make her lay down on his arm instead. He embraced her so tightly. “I won’t leave you this time,” he said and kissed her forehead. A smile w
