Chapter Eighteen

I wake up to a knock on my door. I get out of bed and reach for my phone to see the time. It was 6 a.m. Who the hell is up at 6 a.m.? I reach for the door and unlock it, only to see Aiden coming inside the room with a furious face.

''Good morning to you too,'' I say sarcastically.

''You are leaving?'' He says looking me dead in the eye with a disappointed look.

''Oh, so Aaron told you. Yes, I am leaving.'' I say trying to keep an emotionless face. It breaks my heart to leave Aiden behind, but I don't want to put anyone in danger because of me.

''And where are you going?'' Aiden asks in an angry tone.

''I don't know but far from here. Maybe I will go to a new town and start my new life there.''

''Elly why? We can protect you here. You don't have to leave.''

''Aiden I am sorry, but I have made my decision, whether you like it or not. I will not put any of you in danger because of me. ''
