"Peek….a-boo!" Kori exclaimed; revealing her face to an excited Karter. He let out a loud squeal and touched her face, gurgling whenever she covered it.
"Peek.." Kori started again, remaining still for a while and peaking Karter's curiosity.
He cooed and drew closer to Kori, tapping her hands and letting out loud gurgles."A-boo!" Kori cooed and earned another loud squeal from him. He giggled uncontrollably and she scooped him up in her arms.
"You two got close awfully quick" Paisley muttered and crossed her arms.
"What? Jealous?" Kori teased and stuck out her tongue."Stop being childish" Paisley deadpanned.

Chapter 19 Staring at Carter's childhood home, Paisley couldn't help but feel like she knew nothing about him. It was not at all what she expected it to be. Instead of a mansion or some kind of beach house, she came face to face with a rather normal and modest looking home.
