"We'll come pick him up around 7pm" Carter informed and handed Eli a backpack full of Karter's favorite things.
Eli stared at his friend, then looked behind him.

Chapter 19 Staring at Carter's childhood home, Paisley couldn't help but feel like she knew nothing about him. It was not at all what she expected it to be. Instead of a mansion or some kind of beach house, she came face to face with a rather normal and modest looking home.
