With groggy eyes, I woke up feeling nauseous and weak. It had been just two days since my return to this pack, and I had been feeling off ever since. I didn't want to think about what it could mean, but the thought nagged at the back of my mind.

Alpha Liams had never been here for once to check up on me, and I know what his usual excuse would be. "I'm always a very busy man." That has always been his language. He just came in and left, not spending even up to five minutes with me.

I know I had missed his touch, but certainly not in this manner.

I decided to visit Annel, hoping that she could offer some comfort and advice since we hadn't seen each other since my return.
