The interview

In a restaurant,

Elena was seen chatting happily with her best friend, Mia.

They were both sipping their bean juice and chatting happily, unlike some other friends, they were really close friend who never kept any secrets away from each other, and they never let each other down, they were best of friends from high school down to college, they were child hood friends who grew up in the same neighborhood.

"Look" Elena almost yelped In shock as she showed Mia the job opportunity showcasing on her phone "It is an interview for being Nathan Hale's personal cook, omg, look at the pay" Elena danced In joy.

"Do you have the qualifications? do you think it will be that easy for you to be Nathan Hale's personal cook? Mia asked.

"Qualifications? I don't need any damn qualifications" Elena scoffed.

"What ever you say, but I don't it will be that possible for you to be hired as Nathan personal cook, a lot of people would be thriving for that position, you know" Mia sipped her bean juice.

"I have to go for the interview, I have to get home and prepare for the interview, if I believe, I will get the job" Elena said adamantly

"I might also apply for the interview, what do you think?" Mia asked, the pay was to good to be true.

"Do you have the qualifications?" Elena mimicked her.

"I don't need any qualifications" Mia answered.

"Okay, but remember that only one person get hired" Elena explained.

"I know" Mia laughed.

"I have to get home and prepare all I need" Elena explained as she got up from the chair and ran home "Bye"

"Wait! who is going to pay for what you ate?" Mia yelled but Elena was already out of sight.

"What a waste, now I have to pay for her meal" Mia grumbled.

Elena smiled as she ran home, of course she didn't wanted to pay for her meal, that was why she ran home, haha, what a sly fox she was.

The next day, the sun came out bright and shine, Elena woke up with a smile, she sang one of Justin Bieber songs as she took her bath and brushed her teeth.

Today was the interview and she had to look extra dashing, she wore a white top complimenting it with her dark jackets with her dark hair flowing freely, making her look like an alluring bad girl.

"Good morning, Grandma" She greeted her grandmother as she took a seat.

"Some one is looking very happy today" Madam Tonia laughed as she st the pancakes in front of her grand daughter.

"My night was good, today us the interview and I really hope I get the job" Elena muttered as she began to dig in the pancakes hungrily, of course she was a glutton anyways.

"Dear, slow down or you might get indigestion" Madam Tonia laughed as she stared at her silly grand daughter.

"Dear, when will you get married?" Madam Tonia asked all of a sudden make Elena almost choked down the food, she took the glass of water and gulped it down.

"Why the sudden question, Grandma?" Elena asked surprised at why her grandmother asked such kind of questions.

"Well, for instance all your friend are getting married, when will be your turn, you are getting old" Madam Tonia almost cried out.

"Mia isn't married, and for crying out loud, I am just thirty years old" Elena said, she didn't actually told her grandmother that she didn't had any intention of getting married as of now, she just wanted to focus on her self.

"When will I see my great grand children?" Madam Tonia wailed.

"Very soon grandma, just keep your mind at rest" Elena took her bag and left leaving Madam Tonia flaring up in anger.

     

                   ~~~THE HALES MANSION~~

Elena was just staring around, her mouth agape, everywhere looked so filthy rich, she wished at least for once she could leave in this kind of mansion.

"Ma'am, this is where others are staying" Steven, Nathan assistant led her to where the people were to be interviewed.

"Hi" Mia said from behind.

"You came?" Elena asked quite shocked.

"Of course I came, the pay was too good to be true" Mia flashed a smile.

"Well, Good luck then" Elena wished her luck.

"Thanks" she laughed nervously.

Elena glanced around, everyone was looking quite nervous, though she could admit she was nervous as well that it was evident on her face, she just wants to get over it, her grandmother was on drugs and she needed the money to pay for it, if not her grand mother may end up dying.

  Her eyes glanced around for Emily, his daughter, maybe she had gone to school, sh thought, she really wanted to see Emily, it was rumored that she was female version of the devil herself.  She knew all about his dead wife and she was quite sorry for him, but what could she do? she was in no position to comfort him.

"Alright everyone, I personally will be judging this show" Nathan hale voice boomed out and everyone was surprised to see Nathan Hale.

It was really scarce to see Nathan Hale in the television talk less of seeing him face to face, he was like the mysterious billionaire who never showed his face to the public.

The whole room was so silent that even a drop of needle could be heard at that moment.
