Raquel was seething with frustration. She had summoned all the slaves who had once worked with Liliana in hopes of finding out a secret that could bring her down from her position of power. But once again, none of them seemed to know anything about Liliana that could be used against her.

Raquel had promised freedom to any slave who could provide her with information that could be used to bring Liliana down. But despite the tempting offer, they all remained silent.

Raquel's anger reached a boiling point when Liliana's best friend, who had claimed to know nothing in the previous interrogation, was brought before her once again. Raquel had her tied up and started flogging her mercilessly, demanding to know what Liliana was hiding.
