ELIAS’ POV

I couldn’t believe the sight before me. My father’s body was in a pool of blood. He wasn’t moving at all and my mother kept crying out like she could faint any second.

“Father… Father… No!” I cried out as I ran towards him.

I knelt down before him and shook his body, but he wasn’t moving an inch.

“He’s…he’s dead, Elias.” My mother managed to speak out as she sobbed hard.

It can’t be. It can’t be that my father died just like that. A remarkable Alpha, respected by all. It all seemed so painful and unbelievable that some enemy warriors had come to kill him, and they feel they could get away with it.

“No! It’s not possible. There has to be something that can be done to this.” I said as I tried to do a CPR on him, but all that happened was that his body was shaking.

“No! No! It can’t be!” I voiced out, feeling broken.

I growled out loud and I could feel my eyes turn red. My claws came out sharply, and it felt as if I could tear anyone apart at this moment.
