KURT'S POV:-
I opened my eyes in the morning and found Leyla's body almost wrapped around me protectively. She was snoring softly. I chuckled softly as I saw her beautiful face in the morning. I pecked her forehead lovingly then freed myself from her tight grip. I walked towards the bathroom and took a shower. Once I was done with the shower, I wrapped a towel around my waist and stepped out of the bathroom. I went towards the bed and sat down on the edge of the bed. I leaned over and let the droplets of water fall on her beautiful face.
She frowned twice then slowly opened her eyes. She gasped as she found me so close to her. I was staring into her eyes. She gulped hard while looking at my almost naked body. "I need to go. That's why I had to wake you up." I said in a guilty tone after a few minutes of silence. Seeing my face, she chuckled. She sat up on the bed, staring at me. I stood up and went towards the couch where my clothes were set. I started dressing up as she crawled out of the bed.
I wore my clothes and checked my phone. I had a missed call from my friend, Sam. I quickly dialled him back and waited for him to pick up. He answered at yeh second bell. "Hey, man. How are you doing? How are your parents now?" I asked as soon as he picked up.
"Hey, man. I am better. Don't ask anything about my parents. They are restless. Mom has not stopped crying. Dad is exhausted because of her. He is practically babysitting mom. And the others are looking for Samira everywhere. Where are you?" He replied to me in a tired tone and I sighed. I knew he was exhausted just with the thought of searching for his sister.
"I am at my girlfriend's house. I was so exhausted that I could not even drive. She brought me home. I will be at your place soon. Just don't leave without me." I replied to him almost instantly. He just hummed in response then hung up.
I grabbed my stuff and stuffed them in my pockets. The door of Leyla's bedroom opened and Leyla stepped into the house. She had a tray in her hands and a wide smile on her face. She set the tray on the table then walked towards me. She grabbed my hand then pulled me towards the couches.
I looked at the tray and raised a brow at Leyla. She ruffled my hair as she sat down on the couch and pulled me down to sit beside her. "You can not start the hunt without a big breakfast. So you should eat first. And nobody home. As soon as dad leaves for work, mom goes out to meet her friends and all. She hardly stays at home. Aleck has already left for his college. It's just you and me, alone in this mansion." I chuckled as she filled me in with every piece of information. I leaned in and pecked her forehead. I had no idea how caring she really was.
"This looks good. And I am actually starving. Thank you for your hospitality." I said in a nervous tone while rubbing the back of my neck. I just could not understand why I always get so nervous around her. She made me nervous. She bit her lower lip and nodded her head. Then she stood up and went towards the bathroom. And I busied myself with my breakfast. To be honest, it was very delicious and it did not take me longer to finish up the whole thing. Burping in satisfaction, I set the empty dishes on the tray.
She stepped out the closet, ready to start her day. She came to me and a wide smile appeared on her face as she looked at the empty tray. "How was it all? Are you full or you want something more to eat?" She asked me with a wide smile on her face.
"Nah! I'm full. Thank you so much. Everything was so good. I could not stop myself from fishing it. Anyways, I should get going. My friend is waiting for me. I will try to see you tonight." I replied, holding her hands and staring into her beautiful ice blue eyes. Her eyes were just amazing. She smiled shyly and nodded her head.
LEYLA'S POV:-
Once Kurt left, I went to the kitchen to fetch myself some breakfast. I grabbed my breakfast and went towards the dining hall. Maids were working in the mansion. I sat down on my chair and busied myself with the pictures I had taken in Alina's house. I was surprised to see all that in her house. I had been searching for answers and all the information I had collected was written in a couple of diaries. But I was nowhere near the information Alena had written in just one room of her house. How did I know? Well, I could imagine how much work I needed to do to reach her mind.
But I knew I just could not learn everything in a day. And first I had to figure out a way to understand the language she used for all the information. It was not that easy. I googled her name on my laptop and searched for anything I could find under her name. "Oh, that's teacher Alina." A maid spoke from behind and I turned to look at her.
"You know her?" I asked in a curious tone. She smiled and nodded her head. I signalled her to sit down. She sat down on a chair beside me.
"Tell me everything you know about her. Who is she? Where is she? What happened to her? Where is she now, if you know?" I bombarded the maid with questions about Alina. Maid nodded her head then looked at me.
"Alina was my teacher. She was a very kind woman. She knew my parents could not send me to school. So she taught me and kids like me for free in her house." The maid started to tell me the story I was excited to hear.
"One day, she started babbling about things like demons and angels and heaven and hell. It all started happening after an accident." She added in the story and I frowned in confusion.
"What accident? What happened?" I asked her in an excited tone.
"She had an accident. She was coming back home after school. When a Blake van hit her in front of the cemetery around her house. The police suspected that it was some robbers, trying to escape. She was hit pretty hard and the doctors were not very hopeful about her survival." She answered my questions and suddenly that story she was telling me, started to sound very very familiar.
"Her family even decided to get her free from this pain she was in. She did not wake up. So they decided on the option of mercy killing. But the next day when they all reached the hospital, she was awake and fine. She spent a few days at the hospital. Then she was discharged. And after a month, she started babbling about these fantasy things. One of her students told the police that she even started talking about a man with horns. She called him Lucifer." By the time the maid finished Alina's story, I was lost in the oceans of my own thoughts. I could not understand how anything like that could happen.
LEYLA'S POV:-"Lucifer, huh! Weird. Do you know where Alina is now? I mean, I have heard that she was taken away by the police then she was sent to a psychological help center. Do you have any idea where she could have been?" I asked her in a curious tone while scratching my chin. I was so hopeful that I could meet Alina. For me, I thought she was the only one who could help me find the truth hidden behind the walls I could not touch. And Alina was my last hope to figure out all the answers I had been looking for.Hearing my question, the maid sighed in a disappointed way then shook her hand. "I am so sorry, Leyla. We know nothing about what happened to her. Even her family has no idea where she was taken." She replied to me in a disappointed way and my smile also fell. I was really hoping to see Alina to find out what she had figured out. Her story was almost like mine. A
LEYLA'S POV:-"So, Miss Summers. Tell me, what brought you here? Because I have never received a curious guest in years to visit my house. What brought you here?" He asked me in a curious tone while looking at me from head to toe. He was suspicious about me for some reason."Please, call me Leyla. I am here to ask you about Alina. Where is she? I need to meet her." I replied to him in a calmed tone. Hearing my words, his facial expressions changed. From curious to anger. I gulped hard as I was not expecting him to be angry just because I asked about his girlfriend."And you are what, another journalist or something? Who wants to show her ugly face to the world?" He roared at me as he stood up from the couch he was on and towered over me. As for me, I was so scared of him that I almost felt my heart would jump out of my chest.
LEYLA'S POV:-"But this is near to impossible. How come she and I had the same kind of accident, with the same van and that too in the same year? And after that, the same incident happened to us both. I just don't get it." I asked Ali in a confused tone while scratching my chin lightly while thinking about everything.Ali stood up and went towards the wall in front of us. He grabbed the shelf with decorative items on it and moved it. The shelf opened like a door and behind that door was a secret hidden room. I also stood up and followed him behind. As it was the only thing I could think of doing. He went towards the shelves where all the books were set. The books looked very old and ancient. He went towards the shelves where the books with black covers were. He chose one book and pulled it out. He opened the book and w
LEYLA'S POV:-"See! I was right. These diaries were meant for you. Now it's up to you to find answers. And something tells me that you don't have much time to figure it out." Ali spoke in an enthusiastic tone while looking at me. As for me, I was adjusting myself. That spark was not just knowledge. It was pure energy. Like the spiritual energies I had inside me. I was shocked because I felt strong. Actually, I felt stronger than ever. I turned my head towards Ali and frowned in confusion."What do you mean? Why am I out of time?" I asked him in a confused tone. He sighed and walked towards me. He wrapped an arm around my shoulders and pulled me out of that secret room. He pulled me towards his living room. There was a big window in his living room. He pulled me towards the living room and pointed his finger towards the sky.
LEYLA'S POV:-"I have heard a lot about you, Leyla Summers. There are ghosts all over the city who talk about your bravery and acts of kindness. My name is Jenaveve. And we welcome you to our cemetery to help you." Ghost of a beautiful woman spoke as she walked towards me from behind. She invited me in and we all walked further into the cemetery. We walked in the middle of the woods. Then I sat down on the grass, all the ghosts surrounded me."Tell me, Leyla, how can we help you?" Jenaveve asked me in a calmed and polite tone. I looked at their faces as I needed to start with some points. But I was not sure where I should start from."Let me start from the beginning. I was not always like this. I was born like a normal human being. But then, an accident happened. And that changed my life. Something that happened to Alina, the teacher. She
LEYLA'S POV:-"Woah woah woah!!! Hold on a second. You saw my car parked in front of the cemetery? Where did you see my car?" I almost yelled at him and that made him jump. He growled in anger and grabbed my hand. He pulled me out of the cemetery and I gasped loudly. My car was literally parked in front of the gate of the cemetery. I was staring at my car as if I was looking at a monster or something."Okay, I literally parked my car far away from the cemetery gates. How in actual hell did it get here?" After a few minutes of silence, I finally managed to speak. Hearing my surprised tone, Kurt scratched his head."That's how I felt when I saw your car in front of the cemetery. You literally called me and asked me to come and get you from the house I dropped you at the other night. But I saw your car here. So I came here instead. Whe
LEYLA'S POV:-It took me almost an hour to unknot all the ropes. Once Ian was free, I helped him up. We stepped out of the bathroom. I took him towards the bed and made him sit down on the edge of the bed. "What the hell happened here? Who put you in the bathroom? That too tied with ropes like a thousand knots." I asked him in a curious tone while he was trying to catch his breath. He turned his head towards me and glared at me."Why are you glaring at me like you are about to eat me alive? What did I do?" I added more questions with a confused look on my face. He sighed and shook his head."I received your message today. The guard who was supposed to be on duty tonight before me, he had an emergency and asked me to be in his place. I was on my duty when I received your message. You wanted to visit today. So I got everything
KURT'S POV:-After spending two days looking for Samira, Sam and I finally decided to go to the police to register a missing report. Once we were done with the complaint, Sam took me back to his house. His parents were devastated. And I felt useless. We were not able to search anything about Samira.Sam went towards the bedroom of his sister, Samira. I followed him behind. He always loved Samira like his own daughter. He loved her so much. And he felt helpless when he was unable to find his baby sister. It was disturbing for everyone.I knew I could not just leave him alone. I knew he needed me by his side. I stepped into Samira's bedroom and looked around. My jaw hit the floor and my eyes almost popped out of their sockets as I looked around the room. There was not a single wall where I could not see my posters and pictures in that room. My action figur
